The compound from Step A was hydrolysed using 325 mL of THF, 600 mL of MeOH and 325 mL of 1.0M LiOH. The solution was heated to 80° C. for 3 h. The solution was acidified with 1N HCl and extracted with 3×200 mL of EtOAc. The organic phase was washed with 0ater (2×150 mL) and dried over MgSO4. The solution was evaporated to dryness to provide the title compound. m.p. 190°-191° C.
