Potassium cyanide (0.056 g) was added to a stirred solution of the product from step (ii) (0.13 g) in DMSO (imL) and DMF (1 mL). The mixture was stirred at rt for 15 h and then diluted with EtOAc (10 mL). The organic phase was washed with water and brine then dried, filtered and evaporated to give the subtitle compound, 0.12 g.
