Procedure
In analogy to example 161, step 1, (E)-5-(3-(3,5-dichlorophenyl)acryloyl)pyridin-2(1H)-one was reacted with iodomethane in the presence of potassium carbonate. The product of this reaction was treated in analogy to example 203, step 1, with 4-(methylsulfonyl)phenylboronic acid in the presence of chloro(1,5-cyclooctadiene)rhodium(I) dimer and sodium hydrogen-carbonate in 1,4-dioxane and water at 60° C. The product of this reaction was reacted with hydroxylamine hydrochloride in the presence of sodium hydrogencarbonate to give the title compound containing less than 10% of the corresponding Z isomer as an off-white solid, MS (ESI+): m/z=479.1 [M+H]+.
