Procedure
To a stirred solution of 2.2 g (10.4 mmol) 8a in 120 ml dimethylformamide was added 1.35 ml (22.8 mmol) prop-2-yn-1-ol and 6 g (22.8 mmol) triphenylphosphin and 4.42 ml (22.8 mmol) dipropan-2-yl (E)-diazene-1,2-dicarboxylate. The reaction mixture was stirred for 2 h and concentrated. The residue was purified by two subsequent column chromatographies (ethyl acetate hexane1:20→2:1) to obtain 970 mg (37%) of the desired product 8b.
