To a solution of (S)-1-ethyl-3-(4-(4-(3-methylmorpholino)-5,6,7,8-tetrahydropyrido[3,4-d]pyrimidin-2-yl)phenyl)urea (130 mg, 0.33 mmol) in DMF (2.5 mL) was added bromoethane (29 μL, 0.39 mmol) and DIPEA (69 μL, 0.39 mmol). The reaction mixture was then heated by microwave at 100° C. for 1 h. The crude reaction mixture was then partitioned between water and EtOAc, the phases separated and the organic layer washed with NaHCO3 and brine, dried over magnesium sulfate, filtered and the solvent removed in vacuo. The residue was purified by flash chromatography (2-10% MeOH/DCM) to give a light brown solid (79 mg, 57%).
