Procedure

A mixture of 2.8 g (0.015 mol) of 6-quinolylacetic acid, 4.2 g (0.0015 mol) of 4-hydroxy-4-(3-trifluoromethylphenyl)piperidine, 6.63 g (0.015 mol) of BOP and 5.3 ml of triethylamine in 60 ml of methylene chloride is stirred overnight. 100 ml of ethyl acetate are added and the mixture is washed with water and with 1N sodium hydroxide solution and dried over sodium sulphate, and the solvent is evaporated off. 5.9 g of the title compound are obtained.

Workup

  2. dry with materialdried over sodium sulphate
  3. customthe solvent is evaporated off
