Procedure

In analogy to example 10, step 3, N-[5-(3-methanesulfonyl-phenyl)-thiophen-2-ylmethyl]-2-trifluoromethyl-benzenesulfonamide (example 27, step 1) was reacted with 2-bromoethyl methyl ether and cesium carbonate in N,N-dimethylacetamide to give N-[5-(3-methanesulfonyl-phenyl)-thiophen-2-ylmethyl]-N-(2-methoxy-ethyl)-2-trifluoromethyl-benzenesulfonamide as a light yellow oil. MS: 550.8 ([M+NH4]+)
