The product from Example 70 Step B (70 mg) was stirred in 2 mL of dichloromethane with 3-chloroperoxybenzoic acid (MCPBA) (40 mg) for 1 hour at 0° C. An additional 5 mg of MCPBA was added and the reaction stirred 30 minutes more, then diluted with EtOAc and washed with saturated NaHCO3 and brine. The solution was dried over Na2SO4 and concentrated in vacuo to give the titled compound. ESI+ MS: 218 [MH-Boc]+.
