A mixture of Example 476A (0.327 g, 1.2 mmol), tert-butyl acrylate (0.203 mL, 1.40 mmol), acetonitrile (1.5 mL), tri(ortho-tolyl)phosphine (0.035 g, 0.12 mmol), palladium diacetate (0.013 g, 0.06 mmol), and triethylamine (0.32 mL, 2.3 mmol) was sealed and heated in a microwave reactor for 10 minutes at 200° C. The reaction mixture was concentrated and purified by flash chromatography (15% ethyl acetate/hexanes) to provide the desired product (0.12 g, 32%); MS (DCI) m/e 332 (M+H)+.
