A solution of Example 380A (101 mg, 0.25 mmol) in TBF (3 mL) was treated with 60% sodium hydride in oil (40 mg, 1.0 mmol), stirred for 30 minutes, treated with 1-adamantanecarbonyl chloride (60 mg, 0.30 mmol), stirred for 30 minutes, adjusted to pH<7 with 4M HCl in dioxane (0.5 mL), filtered, and concentrated. The concentrate was purified by flash column chromatography on silica gel with 30-100% ethyl acetate/hexanes to provide the desired product. MS (ESI(−)) m/e 576 (M−H)−; 1H NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ 10.23 (s, 1H), 8.52 (d, 1H), 8.23 (dd, 1H), 8.19 (d, 1H), 7.95 (d, 2H, 7.75 (m, 4H), 7.31 (tt, 2H), 2.05 (3s, 3H), 1.90 (m, 6H), 1.70 (m, 6H).
