Procedure

A solution of 213 mg 2-{8-chloro-6-[3-(4-fluorophenyl)-1-trityl-1H-4-pyrazolyl]imidazo[1,2-a]pyridin-3-yl}-1,3-thiazole obtained in Example 404 in 2 mL N,N-dimethylacetamide, together with 24 mg zinc cyanide, 6 mg zinc powder, 12 mg tris(dibenzylidene acetone)dipalladium (0) and 15 mg diphenylphosphinoferrocene, was heated at 150° C. for 5 hours, and the reagents were added in the same amounts as described above, and the mixture was heated at 150° C. for 10 hours. The reaction solution was diluted with water and ethyl acetate and filtered through Celite, and the organic layer was washed with brine. The solution was dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate, the solvent was removed, and the resulting crude product was purified by silica gel column chromatography (ethyl acetate/hexane) and then recrystallized to give 68 mg of the title compound (yellow solid).
