To the solution of 3-[8-(2,6-difluorophenyl)-2-(methylthio)-7-oxo-7,8-dihydropyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidin-4-yl]-4-methylbenzoic acid (220 mg, 0.50 mmol) in dichloromethane (5 mL) was added (2-phenylethyl)amine (69.1 μL, 0.55 mmol), EDC (105 mg, 0.55 mmol), HOBt (6.8 mg, 0.05 mmol) and Et3N (281 μL, 2.0 mmol). The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 20 hours. Then was quenched with H2O, extracted with DCM, dried over Na2SO4, filtered, concentrated and applied to flash chromatography to afford the titled compound 202 mg (74%).
