Hydrogen chloride gas was bubbled through a 0° C. solution of compound 1-10 (338 mg, 0.9 mmol) in ethyl acetate (5 mL) for 1 minute. The reaction was sealed and stirred for 40 minutes. Concentration in vacuo gave the titled compound as a white solid. Data for 1-11: LC/MS: m/z (M+CH3CN)=315.2 found; 315.3 calculated.
