Compound 15 (0.06 mmol) was added to a mixture of tetrahydrofuran (0.7 mL) and 4M HCl in dioxane (0.7 mL). Et3SiH (0.408 mmol) was added and the reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 4 hrs. The reaction mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure to give compound 16 as an orange solid in quantitative yield. MS (ESI, EI+) m/z=329.19 (MH+).
