A mixture of methyl 4-((1-((4-chlorophenyl)(phenyl)methyl)azetidin 3-yl)-methoxy)-5-cyclopropyl-2-fluorobenzoate (50 mg, 0.10 mmol) and lithium hydroxide (13 mg, 0.31 mmol) in THF (10 mL) and H2O (10 mL) was stirred at 50° C. for 3 h. The mixture was diluted with EtOAc (100 mL), washed with HCl (2.0 M, 20 mL), brine (50×2 mL), dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate, filtered and concentrated to give the target product (50 mg) as oil which was used in the next step without further purification. LCMS (ESI) m/z: 466.1 [M+H]+.
