A mixture from Example 105B (103.8 mg, 0.55 mmol), phenylacetic acid (138.6 mg, 1.02 mmol) and 1-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-3-ethylcarbodiimide HCL (206.7 mg, 1.08 mmol) in pyridine (1.5 mL) and DMF (1.5 mL) was stirred at ambient temperature for 5 hours. The mixture was concentrated. Purification by reverse phase HPLC afforded 123.7 mg (74%) of the title compound. 1H NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ ppm 1.39 (s, 9H), 3.63 (s, 2H), 6.99 (dd, J=7.1, 4.1 Hz, 1H), 7.23-7.34 (m, 5H), 8.48 (dd, J=4.1, 1.7 Hz, 1H), 8.91 (dd, J=7.1, 1.7 Hz, 1H), 9.93 (s, 1H); MS (DCI) m/z 309 (M+H)+.
