283 mg (1.00 mmol) 4-bromo-iodobenzene, 10 mg (0.05 mmol) CuI, 124 mg (2.00 mmol) ethyleneglycol and 424 mg (2.00 mmol) potassium phosphate are added to a reaction vessel, which is evacuated and rinsed with argon several times. Then 154 mg (1.00 mmol) 1-pyrrolidin-3-yl-piperidine in 1 mL isopropanol are added and the reaction is shaken for 15 h at 80° C. The reaction solution is diluted with EtOAc and extracted twice with 5% ammonia solution. The organic phase is dried over MgSO4 and the solvent is eliminated i.vac.
