The title compound 434 (0.310 g, 1.24 mmol) and the methyl 4-iodobenzoate (0.390 g, 1.48 mmol) were stirred in acetonitrile (10.0 mL). Copper iodide (24 mg, 0.124 mmol) and dichlorobis(triphenylphosphine)palladium (87 mg, 0.124 mmol) were added followed by triethylamine (0.44 mL, 3.11 mmol). The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 4 hours. The mixture was poor into ethyl acetate and the organic layer was washed with water and brine, dried over sodium sulfate, filtered and evaporated. The crude was purified by flash chromatography (10-30% ethyl acetate in hexanes) to afford title compound 435 (285 mg, 60%) as a light brown solid. MS (m/z): 384.3 (M+H).
