Procedure

To a solution of 6-(4-tert-butyl-phenoxy)-1-cyclopentylmethyl-isoquinoline-3-carboxylic acid (50 mg, 0.124 mmol) in dry DMF (1.25 mL) was added HBTU (1.5 eq., 0.19 mmol, 71 mg), tert-butylglycine methyl ester (1.1 eq., 0.14 mmol, 25 mg) and DIEA (3.0 eq., 0.37 mmol, 0.065 mL) according to general procedure A. Purification by chromatography on silica afforded 23 mg of the title compound.
