Procedure
Experimental condition analogous to Example 3 were used with (2-Methyl-3-phenyl-allyl)-[3-(2-methyl-pyrrolidin-1-yl)-propyl]-amine (prepared from 2-methyl-pyrrolidine describe on scheme 10) 0.14 g (0.5 mmol), 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzoic acid 0.130 g (0.65 mmol), triethylamine 0.1 ml, and propanephosphonic acid cyclic anhydride solution (50% in ethyl acetate) solution (50% in ethyl acetate) 0.7 g in 10 ml ethyl acetate. The free amine was transformed to the HCl salt in ether, giving 40 mg of a brown semi-solid. Yield: 15%.
