Procedure
20 g (62 mmol) of 4,4-bis(4-fluorophenyl)butyl bromide, 8.8 g (68 mmol) of 4-hydroxyethylpiperidine, 12.5 g (124 mmol) of triethylamine and 0.1 g of potassium iodide were stirred in 200 ml of absolute dimethylformamide at 80° C. for 4.5 hours. The solvent was stripped off in vacuo, the residue was taken up in methylene chloride, the mixture was extracted by shaking with 2N HCl, water and NaCl solution and the extract was dried and concentrated.
