Under an atmosphere of nitrogen, 3-chloro-2-pyrazinecarboxylic acid (76 mg), TBTU (168 mg), and diisopropylethylamine (310 mg) were added to a solution of carbamimidoylmethyl-carbamic acid benzyl ester [77390-81-9] (99 mg) in DMF (6 ml). The reaction mixture was stirred for 2 h at ambient temperature, diluted with dichloromethane and washed with water. The organic layer was dried (Na2SO4), filtered, and the solvent was evaporated. The obtained, crude title compound (220 mg) was used without further purification in the next step.
