Procedure

A mixture of Example 451A (828 mg, 2.0 mmol) and 1M LiOH (3 mL) in THF (10 mL) was heated to 50° C., stirred for 3 hours, diluted with ethyl acetate, washed with saturated sodium monobasic phosphate (10 mL), dried (MgSO4), filtered, and concentrated to provide the desired product.
