200 mg (0.46 mmol) of 4-[4-(5,5,8,8-tetramethyl-5,6,7,8-tetrahydronaphthalen-2-yl)thiazol-2-yl]piperidine hydrobromide, 81 mg (0.46 mmol) of pyridin-4-ylacetic acid, 202 μl (1.84 mmol) of 4-methylmorpholine, 361 mg (1.84 mmol) of EDCl and 135 mg (0.73 mmol) of HOBt are dissolved in 10 ml of THF and stirred at room temperature for 24 h. The reaction mixture is added to saturated ammonium chloride solution and extracted with ethyl acetate. The organic phase is separated off, dried over sodium sulfate and evaporated to dryness. The crude mixture is purified by column chromatography on silica gel.
