Procedure
6-Chloro-2,3-dihydro-2-[2-(1-piperidinyl)ethyl]-1,3-dioxo-1H-isoindole-5-sulfonamide. Reaction of a mixture of 4-chloro-5-sulfamoylphthalimide and 2-(1-piperidinyl)ethylamine according to the procedure of Example 1(a) afforded a 71% yield of the 1,3-dioxoisoindole intermediate, m.p. 200°-202° from ethanol.
