Procedure
To a solution of N,N′-di-Boc-1H-pyrazole-1-carboxamidine (450 mg, 1.45 mmol) and methoxyamine hydrochloride (151 mg, 1.81 mmol) in THF (3 mL) aid methanol (3 mL) was slowly added triethylamine (183 mg, 1.81 mmol). After stirring at room temperature for 64 hours, the reaction mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure and diluted with ethyl acetate. The salts were removed by filtration. The filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure and triturated with ether to provide the crude product that was used without further purification.
