To a room temperature solution of 1-(4-fluorophenyl)-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-c]pyridine-4-carboxylic acid (185 mg, 0.800 mmol) in DMF was added PyBOP (360 mg, 0.72 mmol) and Et3N (152 mg, 1.50 mmol). After 30 minutes, (S)-1-[1-(toluene-4-sulfonyl)-1H-pyrazol-3-yl]-propylamine (201 mg, 0.720 mmol) was added. After 3 hours, the reaction was diluted with water and extracted with EtOAc. The combined organic layers were washed with brine, dried over sodium sulfate and concentrated in vacuo. The residue was purified by reversed-phase HPLC. The major fractions were combined and the solvent was removed in vacuo to afford the title compound.
