741 mg (3 mmol) of 1-cyclopropyl-7-fluoro-1,4-dihydro-4-oxo-3-quinolinecarboxylic acid together with 567 mg (4.5 mol) of 2,8-diazabicyclo[4.3.0]nonane and 672 mg of 1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane are heated for two hours at 100° C. in 30 ml of N-methylpyrrolidone. The mixture is concentrated under a high vacuum, and the residue is stirred thoroughly with acetonitrile and dried at 100° C.
