A solution of 1.0 eq. of 22 and 5.0 eq. of LiOH.H2O in THF, MeOH, and H2O (2:1:1) was stirred at rt. After a time sufficient for reaction completion, the reaction mixture was rotary evaporated. The mixture was acidified with concentrated HCl. As the pH of the solution reached about 2, a precipitate formed. The solid was collected by filtration and after drying under vacuum, product 23 was obtained.
