Procedure

A solution of 8-amino-2-furan-2-yl-[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-a]pyrazine-6-carboxylic acid (20 mg, 0.082 mmol; see Example 8 above), diisopropylethylamine (14 μL, 0.082 mmol), HATU (47 mg, 0.123 mmol), and diethylamine (0.163 mmol) in DMF (300 μL) was stirred at room temperature for 1 hour. The solvent was removed in vacuo. The residue was purified by HPLC (C18, H2O:MeCN gradient). 1H NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ 1.17 (t, J=6.9 Hz, 6H), 3.41 (m, 4H), 6:76 (dd, J3.4, 1.7 Hz, 1H), 7.18 (dd, J=3.4, 0.7 Hz, 1H), 7.69 (br. s, 2H), 7.96 (dd, J=1.7, 0.7 Hz), 8.34 (s, 1H). MS: m/z 301 (M+1).
