Procedure

To a solution of 6-[{3-methyl-5-[2-(pyridin-4-ylamino)-ethoxy]-benzoyl}-(isopropyl)-amino]-hexanoic acid trifluoroacetate (0.022 g) in DMF (1 ml) was added HATU® (0.039 g), DIPEA (0.018 ml) and 0.5M ammonia in 1,4-dioxane solution (0.2 ml). The mixture was stirred overnight. The reaction mixture was evaporated under reduced pressure, the residue obtained was subjected to preparative hplc to give the title compound as a colourless oil (0.008 g).
