Procedure

To a solution of 2-(4-(6-fluoro-1H-indol-3-yl)-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)acetic acid (Example 6; 120 mg; 0.46 mmol) in THF (25 mL) was added HATU (350 mg; 0.92 mmol) and Et3N (279 mg; 2.76 mmol) under nitrogen. The reaction mixture was stirred for 10 minutes before methylamine (0.5 mL; 1.0 mmol; 2 M in THF) was added dropwise. The reaction mixture was stirred at r.t. overnight, diluted with water (20 mL) and extracted with EtOAc (20 mL×3). The combined organic layers were concentrated, and purified by preparative TLC (EtOAc) to afford 33 mg (26%) of the title product as a white solid.
