A suspension of tert-butyl ((2S)-1-((5-((4-(benzyloxy)-3-fluorobenzoyl)amino)-4-chloropyridin-2-yl)oxy)propan-2-yl)carbamate (6.28 g), potassium carbonate (3.28 g) and copper(I) iodide (226 mg) in DMF (40 mL) was stirred at 160° C. for 3 hr under microwave irradiation. To the reaction mixture was added water, and the obtained mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate. The extract was washed with saturated brine, and subjected to silica gel column chromatography (NH, ethyl acetate). The solvent was evaporated, and the obtained residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (hexane/ethyl acetate) to give the title compound (1.72 g).
