Procedure
Using N-{4-[4-ethoxy-5-(4H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)-1,3-thiazol-2-yl]pyridin-2-yl}acetamide (6.2 g, 19 mmol) produced in Example 8-B (v), p-toluenesulfonic acid monohydrate (4.3 g, 23 mmol), 3,4-dihydro-2H-pyran (7.9 g, 94 mmol) and tetrahydrofuran (188 mL) as starting materials and in the same manner as in Example 4-B(i), the title compound (4.7 g, 60%) was obtained as a yellow solid.
