Conditions
- Temperature
- 75 °C
Procedure
N,N-Dimethylformamide (1 ml) was added to 7-(2-chloro-ethoxy)-6-methoxy-4-(2-methyl-quinolin-3-yloxy)-quinoline (compound 353) (35 mg), potassium carbonate (37 mg), and piperidine (23 mg), and the mixture was stirred at 75° C. overnight. The reaction solution was cooled to room temperature, water was added to the reaction solution, and the mixture was extracted with chloroform. The chloroform layer was washed with water and was then dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate. The solvent was removed by distillation under the reduced pressure, and the residue was purified by thin layer chromatography using chloroform-methanol to give the title compound (35 mg, yield 89%).
