A mixture of HATU (458 mg, 1206 μmol), 1,2-dimethyl-3-oxo-5-phenyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylic acid (140 mg, 603 μmol), 3-fluoro-4-(7-methoxyquinolin-4-yloxy)benzenamine (258 mg, 908 μmol), and Triethylamine (254 μL, 1809 μmol) in DMF (2 mL) was stirred at 60° C. overnight. The mixture was diluted with EtOAc (10 mL). The mixture was transferred to a separatory funnel with EtOAc (20 mL) and was washed with NaOH (1N, 10 mL), H2O (2×10 mL), NaHCO3 (sat), NaCl (sat), and dried over Na2SO4. The residue after concentration was purified on silica gel and the product was triturated with EtOAc-hexane (1:2) to afford a pink solid (106 mg, 35%). Calc'd for C28H23FN4O4: 498; MS (ESI pos. ion) m/z: 499 (MH+). 1HNMR (CDCl3, 400 MHz): 11.04 (1H, s), 8.56 (1H, d, J 5.3), 7.88 (1H, d, J 14.7), 7.55-7.40 (5H, m), 7.47 (1H, s), 7.35 (1H, d), 7.22 (1H, d, J 9.1), 7.13 (1H, t, J 8.8), 6.36 (1H, d, J 5.3), 3.96 (3H, s), 3.62 (3H, s), 3.41 (3H, s).
