Procedure
A solution of 4-(5-chloro-4-(2-(1-(methoxymethoxy)cyclobutyl)thiazol-5-yl)-1-tosyl-1H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridin-2-yl)phenol (Example 69A) (60 mg, 0.101 mmol), tetrahydrofuran-3-ol (12 mg, 0.131 mmol), and triphenylphosphine (34.3 mg, 0.131 mmol) in anhydrous tetrahydrofuran (1 mL) was treated with diisopropyl azodicarboxylate (0.025 mL, 0.131 mmol). The reaction was stirred for 16 hours at ambient temperature. The reaction treated with more tetrahydrofuran-3-ol (12 mg, 0.131 mmol), diisopropyl azodicarboxylate (0.025 mL, 0.131 mmol) and triphenylphosphine (34.3 mg, 0.131 mmol), and the reaction was warmed to 70° C. for 5 hours. The reaction was cooled, diluted with ethyl acetate, and washed with water and brine. The organic layer dried with sodium sulfate, filtered, and concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by flash chromatography on silica gel, eluting with a gradient of 30 to 40% ethyl acetate in hexanes, to give the title compound. MS ESI(+) m/z 666.1 [M+H]+.
