Methyl 2-((S)-6-((R)-4-(2,6-dimethyl-4-((1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)methoxy)phenyl)-7-fluoro-2,3-dihydro-1H-inden-1-yloxy)-2,3-dihydrobenzofuran-3-yl)acetate is dissolved in methanol (1 mL) and tetrahydrofuran (1 mL) and aqueous NaOH solution (0.2 mL, 1 Mol/L) was added. The reaction mixture is shaken for 72 hours at room temperature. Aqueous hydrochloric acid (0.2 mL, 1 Mol/L) and dimethylformamide (1 mL) are added and the product is purified by HPLC on reversed phase. The product fractions are collected and lyophilized to give the title compound. LC (method 14): tR=0.69 min; Mass spectrum (ESI+): m/z=543 [M+H]+.
