A mixture of 1 (201 mg, 0.86 mmol), ammonium acetate (331 mg, 4.3 mmol) and Na2SO4 (200 mg) in THF (2.9 ml) was stirred at 70° C. in sealed tube for 18 hours. The solvent was evaporated, water (5 ml) was added and the precipitate filtered, washed with water and dried under vacuum, affording 7 (171 mg, 90%) as green solid.
