20 mg of the compound of step 3 were dissolved in 5 ml of a mixture of THF and water (9:1), and 1.9 mg (77.5 μmol) of lithium hydroxide were added. After stirring at room temperature for 3 d, the mixture was acidified with 1 M hydrochloric acid and evaporated. The residue was purified by silica gel chromatography (DCM/methanol 95:5) and RP HPLC (water/ACN gradient) to give 8 mg of the title compound.
