Procedure
165 mg (0.56 mmol) of 8-chloro-4-t-butoxycarbonyl-1,3,4,5-tetrahydrobenzo[e][1,4]diazepin-2-on was dissolved in 5 ml of trifluoroacetic acid, and the obtained solution was stirred at room temperature for 2 hours. The solvent was evaporated and the obtained crude product was dissolved in dichloromethane. 0.24 ml (1.68 mmol) of triethylamine and 0.085 ml (0.67 mmol) of 4-chlorobenzoyl chloride were added to the obtained solution, and they were stirred overnight. After the treatment with ethyl acetate as the extracting solvent by an ordinary method, the obtained crude product was washed with hexane/ethyl acetate (1/1) to obtain the title compound.
