Procedure

Using the procedure of Step F of Example 6, 6.3 g of the acid of Step E and 2.1 g of 2-amino-thiazole were reacted in the presence of dicyclohexylcarbodiimide in dimethylformamide to obtain 2.5 g of N-(2-thiazolyl)-4-hydroxy-2-n-propyl-8-trifluoromethyl-quinoline-3-carboxamide in the form of colorless crystals melting at 222° C after crystallization from acetic acid.
