Procedure
Using the procedure of Step F of Example 6, 10.02 g of the product of Step E and 3.2 g of 2-aminothiazole were reacted in the presence of dicyclohexylcarbodiimide in dimethylformamide to obtain 4.03 g of N-(2-thiazolyl)-4-hydroxy-2-(2-methylpropyl)-8-trifluoromethyl-quinoline-3-carboxamide in the form of colorless crystals melting at 170°-171° C after crystallization from isopropanol.
