Procedure
0.281 mL of diethyl cyanophosphonate (0.302 g, 1.85 mmol) is placed in a 25 mL three-necked flask containing 0.63 g of 59 (1.56 mmol) and 7.5 mL of DMF, at 0° C., followed by addition, after 10 minutes, of 0.21 mL of TEA (1.49 mmol). The reaction medium is stirred at 0° C. for 2 hours. 15 mL of EtOAc are added and the mixture is then washed with twice 15 mL of distilled water. The organic phase is dried over MgSO4, filtered and then evaporated to dryness. The crude product is chromatographed on a silica cartridge (120 g) with a heptane/EtOAc eluent (as an EtOAc gradient: 0 to 30%). 188 mg of expected product 60 are obtained (white solid).
