Procedure
A stirred mixture of the compound of Example I, C. (22 g. 0.1 mole) and 5-amino-2-methoxypyridine (12 g., 0.1 mole) in 200 ml. of dimethylformamide, was refluxed for 6 hours. The reaction mixture, after standing at room temperature overnight, was filtered to give a tan solid. The solid was treated with dilute NH4OH and then filtered to yield 30 g. (98%) of tan product.
