To a solution of piperidine-3-carboxylic acid (5-tert-butyl-isoxazol-3-yl)-amide; hydrochloride (100 mg; 0.347 mmol) in anhydrous THF (1 mL) is added triethylamine (0.098 mL; 0.7 mmol) and 1,1-dioxo-1λ6-thiomorpholine-4-carbonyl chloride (71.15 mg; 0.36 mmol). The reaction mixture is left stirring at room temperature overnight. The reaction mixture is diluted with water and extracted with ethyl acetate 3 times. The organics are combined and washed with brine, dried over Na2SO4, filtered and concentrated in vacuo.
