Procedure
A solution of the product from Example 219 (0.3 g) in tetrahydrofuran (2 ml) containing 4 amino-1-piperidinecarboxylic acid, 1,1-dimethylethyl ester (0. 161 g) and N-ethyldiisopropylamine (0.5 ml) was stirred for 16 hours before evaporating to dryness. The residue was taken into dichloromethane (30 ml) and trifluoroacetic acid (3 ml) added. The solution was stirred for 30 minutes then concentrated to give the title compound (310 mg).
