A solution of DIAD (250 μL, 1.27 mmol) in THF (1 mL) was added dropwise to a solution of 11-ethyl-5,11-dihydro-8-(2-hydroxyethyl)-5-methyl-6H-dipyrido[3,2-b:2′,3′-e][1,4]diazepin-6-one (346 mg, 1.16 mmol), methyl 4-hydroxy-3-methylbenzoate (212 mg, 1.27 mmol) and PPh3 (333 mg, 1.27 mmol) in THF (5 mL) at 25° C. The reaction mixture was stirred at 25° C. for 1 h. The mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by flash chromatography (Hexane:EtOAc, 1:1) to give the title compound (471 mg, 91% yield) as white solid.
