A solution of DIAD (258 μL, 1.31 mmol) in THF (4 mL) was added over 2 h to a solution of 11-ethyl-5,11-dihydro-8-(2-hydroxyethyl)-5-methyl-6H-dipyrido[3,2-b:2′,3′-e][1,4]diazepin-6-one (300 mg, 1.01 mmol), 1,1-dimethylethyl N-(4-hydroxy-3-methylphenyl)carbamate (225 mg, 1.01 mmol) and PPh3 (343 mg, 1.31 mmol) in THF (12 mL) at 25° C. The reaction mixture was stirred at 25° C. for 1 h. The mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by flash chromatography (Hexane:EtOAc, 7:3 to 1:1) to give the title compound (230 mg, 45% yield) as white solid.
