To a solution of 6-(3-Amino-phenylamino)-1,3-dihydro-indol-2-one (36 mg, 0.15 mmol) and 3-(4-methyl-imidazol-1-yl)-5-trifluoromethyl-benzoic acid (53 mg, 0.195 mmol) in DMF (1.5 mL) is added N,N-diisopropylethylamine (78 μL, 0.45 mmol) followed by addition of HATU (63 mg, 0.165 mmol). The mixture is stirred at ambient temperature overnight. The mixture is diluted with EtOAc and washed with 10% Na2S2O3 aqueous solution and brine. The organic layer is separated, dried over MgSO4, and concentrated. The crude product is used in the next step without further purification: LC-MS: 492.1 (MH+).
